Allow AD User doing Remote Login to Joined Domain Computer

This post explores the setup and challenges of enabling AD users to access computers within a network. Learn technical insights for optimizing user access using AD RDP remote. I have two way to enable, you can choose 1 you like it.

Pre-requisites :

  • AD DS Installed
  • AD User
  • PC with Joined Domain
  • RDP port is on (Not Blocked by Firewall)

Here some step requirement you should to notice to allow remote user using RDP.

First Way :

The step is really simple. Go to the Settings > System > Remote Desktop. Then dont forget to turn on.

You can Choose these below on the Enable Button.

You can input your User directly, or you can use another way like below. then input the credential AD user > Ok.

Second Way :

You can Open Control Panel > System > Allow Remote Access.

Dont forget to use these configuration below. then click Select Users

Enter the username AD with format name@ADname.domain that you want to remote. dont forget to Click Check Names > Enter your username and password > Ok > Ok

Then you can remote your Account from PC.
